The bookies are claiming that they’ll have to pay out a fortune after the well backed, joint favourite "Comply or Die" won the National 2008 at 7-1. Poor bookies? I know a couple of bookies and they always say that when you win "We’re only loaning you the money".

I was beaten to the punch with the chicken coop I was after on eBay, I was outbid in the last 2 or 3 minutes. I’ll have to start looking again, anyway that’s it for now as Al Murrys happy hour has just started – top stuff!
