Whilst I’m up here working in Edinburgh I’m staying in an apartment in the Newington area supplied by Destination Edinburgh Apartments.  It’s a newly refurbished, modern apartment that is about 15/20 minutes walk from Princes Street and about 8 minutes run to Arthurs Seat (see Wors Workout for images of Arthurs Seat).  The apartment is serviced by a good WiFi network and a fast internet connection – the SQL 2005 Reporting Services hotfix which is a 100Mb (see http://worsworld.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!400938DCD454D501!456.entry for why I need it) came down at a great rate.

 

All in all it’s a great place and I’m enjoying my stay here.  The only downside for me is that it’s surrounded by pubs, restaurants and take away shops – downside because I’m trying to get fit and down to my running weight.  The delicious aromas from these places are a bit much when I’m returning to my apartment for pasta and tomato sauce or beans on toast .
