Wors Workout

I visited the Doc on Tuesday and was given some exercises to carry out to attempt to strengthen my right thigh which the Doc reckons is the cause of the knee problems.  I don’t hold out much hope for this though I continue to carry out squats from a straight backed chair and step up and down the stair.  I’ll give this a couple of weeks to see how it goes then I’ll be looking for something a bit more scientific than his cursory examination.
I managed to run on Thursday and early Saturday am but both times caused my left leg to tire easily as it’s doing all the work and then my left achilles started to complain so I’ve decided to give up running for the next 2 weeks in an effort to give my knees and achilles time to heal.
I said when I started this blog that it was going to be a long road back, I never knew how long though ….. 😦
